Each time I post, I am closer to something I've wanted

Jewels Pie: I am a scientist. I graduated with a degree in the natural sciences, have an internship in a forensic laboratory and aspire to be in the forensic science community as an investigator soon. HOWEVER, my hobbies and goals (outside of work) seem to be in the absolute opposite direction: cooking, photography, modern dance, weight loss, and creative writing/fiction. This blog exists as a collecting place for all of my hobbies and goals. One day, a recipe and wonderful pictures of my creation in the kitchen...the next, a breakthrough in my progress for a book. You never know....and neither do I.
